Bay of Islands Cruise

Cape Reinga Adventure

cape-lgA full day trip via 90 Mile Beach to the very top of New Zealand. The purpose built off-road vehicle which has been designed for the uniqueness of the trip is air conditioned and picks you up outside the motel.
Visit an ancient buried kauri forest 100 – 150,000 years old and learn about the early settlement years and the highly valued kauri gum and its many uses.
From there drive along 90 Mile Beach to Tepaki Stream, have some fun climbing the giant sand dunes and boogy board back down. Next stop Cape Reinga lighthouse with magnificent sweeping views, and the point where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean collide.
Heading home you stop at the famous Mangonui Fish Shop for the freshest fish & chips and a cold drink from the fully licensed bar
